Chill Rottweiler chooses furever home after false reports of it chasing neighborhood children

Puppy mill mommas are some of the most neglected doggos on the planet. Forced to bring litter after litter, all for the profit of their pawrent their lives are confined to small spaces that leave them with little understanding of the world outside. And when their work is done they do not get to live out the rest of their days in loving comfort, instead they are often dumped and left to fend for themselves. Which is where we meet this mother of puppers, confused, scared and searching for any kind of support that might be available to her. Sadly, the community in which she was left behind was a little frightened by her breed and was wary to step in and help until one pitty owner in the area caught wind that this pupper had landed on her doorstep.

Knowing that this was a pupper in poor shape and one that was only looking for love and support this pawrent stepped in and offered up her home as a place for this poor pup to decompress and find herself once more. An initial assessment showed that she had recently given birth to a litter, but with no chip information and the horrid smell coming off her it was clear that no one was looking for her and that she had likely been wandering for a matter of days before she finally found her furever home.

To say that this pup was lucky is an understatement. Somehow, perhaps by the smell of her canine sibling to be, she knew to choose that specific house to settle down in and it was the pawfect choice. If this pawrent had not been so understanding and loving who knows what might have happened to this sweet doggo. After all, a pup who has lived a life like hers knows little to nothing of the outside world. In most cases she would have hardly ever left her cage and walkies would be a very rare occurrence. Finally she stands to learn what it means to be loved, to love and to live a life of pupper freedom.

  • Goodness this is a sad way to begin a tale but as many of these dumping stories go it is inevitable. By the sounds of it this was a puppy mill momma who had served her time and after giving birth to her last litter she was dumped to the streets having no more commercial worth to her ex-owner. This is a dog who had hardly walked, played or even lightly lived her life. She was likely secluded to a cage most of the time and once released must have been terrified and looking for any kind of hooman help.

  • Honestly this is far more than anyone could ask for. After all the years that this poor pupper has spent being isolated, forced to bring litters of puppies and generally neglected you can imagine that she would be a little sensitive about anything that she might call her own. She has never known the joy of sharing a life with a canine sibling, she has never known the generosity that can come from such a relationship. But seeing as her reaction was minimal there is hope yet that she will get to enjoy those pupper perks sooner rather than later.
